Our Coffee

Located in the fertile lands and cooler temperatures of the Rift Valley Sidama coffee is renown as one of the most flavorful coffees in Ethiopia. The higher elevations along with its surrounding environment gives the Sidama bean a robust and complex profile. When the bean is roasted, ground and finally consumed Sidama coffee is one of the most memorable coffees one will ever taste.

More Than Coffee

Our work supports over 500 individuals from pickers, harvester, washing station and miller staff in the Sidama region. We are proud to say that 80% of the seasonal staff are hardworking women, without whom none of this would be possible. ETHELCO is committed to their advancement and training in pre and post-harvest practices along with natural resource management which helps them yield a higher quality coffee, garnering premium prices which help both the employee and their community.
